Can I make an appointment?
Yes! Appointments require at least a 24 hour notice. Cancellations also require a 24 hour notice so that we may give the appointment to other pets that need it. Appointments always take priority over walk-in clients. As a courtesy to other customers and their pets, if you are late for your appointment by more than 10 minutes, we have the right to re-schedule your appointment or we may start working on the other pets first which may cause delay to your pet’s grooming session. If you are going to be late, please call and let us know.
Does my pet have to be vaccinated?
Yes. All animals groomed at Puppy Love are required to have proof of current Vaccinations. Dogs must have current bordetella and rabies vaccinations. We accept current clinic and veterinarian documentation. All dogs must be on a heart worm, and flea and tick control program. These are minimum vaccination requirements and are necessary for the safety of all the animals being groomed at Puppy love.
How long can my pet stay?
All pets must be picked-up within an hour after grooming, or before our closing time in order to avoid daycare/ pet-sitting charges.
Are there ever any additional charges?
Additional charges will apply for pets that require extra work like flea treatment, tick removal, de-shedding, matted/ greasy/ extremely dirty coats, difficult dogs, aggressive dogs, etc. To keep fleas from infesting other pets, as well as our facility, it is mandatory that we treat all pets that show any sign of flea or tick problems.
